<br />Minutes <br />Town Celebrations Committee <br />October 21, 2009 <br />Ellen Stone Room, Cary Hall @ 7:15 pm <br /> <br />Members present <br />Suzie Barry, Sally Fisher, Mary Gillespie, Bill Mix, Henry Murphy, Sandy Podgorski, Charlie <br />Price and Bob Tracey <br />Not present <br />Jo-Anne Granger, Paul Jenkins, Sondra Lucente, Julie Miller, Jerry Michelson, John Rossi and <br />Jim Shaw <br /> Business <br />? <br /> <br />Suzie Barry called the meeting to order at 7:20 pm. <br />? <br /> <br />Minutes of the October 14, 2009 meeting were read and approved. <br />? <br /> <br />We are asked to suggest Town Celebrations information we could post on the website. <br /> <br />Veterans’ Day 2009 <br />? <br /> <br />Suzie Barry publicized the essay contest in many locations and with numerous groups. <br />The contest closes on Monday, October 26, 2009, and essays will be judged on <br />Wednesday, October 28, 2009. <br />? <br /> <br />Parade information will be included in the Colonial Times, Lexington Minuteman, The <br />Boston Globe, Lexington Shopper as well as on the town, Lex Is More and WhoFish <br />websites. <br /> <br />Patriots’ Day 2010 <br />? <br /> <br />The Sister City Committee request for reenactment tickets for the visitors from France is <br />on the table. <br />? <br /> <br />TCC member reenactment ticket requests could possibly be limited this year. <br />? <br /> <br />Youth Commission members will lead the morning parade. <br /> <br />
