G. , <br />A regular muting of the full HATS Committee was held June 12, 1986 with Chairman John <br />Hollywood presiding. <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as i~orr~ted. <br />John Hollywood an+wunced that a change in chairmanship was to be voted at this meeting. In <br />the rotation that had been adopted, it was the Town of Bedford's turn. As ro one from Bedford was in <br />attendance, it was agreed John would contact the Bedford representatives atxi ask them to ~rpaint a <br />chairman from among them. <br />Dan Beagan of GIPS and Ros Deiori explained that the HATS traffic model would be used to <br />calculate the impact of the proposed 47 acres development in L incoln. <br />Regarding this, Norm Faramelli of Massport raised a cosuern that the Air Force Bay size had <br />been underestimated. Jane tioidb~ states that ~ Air Fora 5-year projection showed ~ growth. <br />This would be a shift of about t Ofl0 people moving to/from MITRE and the base and there were 163 <br />housing units bei~ built. The HATS canmit#ee will request Ed Shames to give the figures to Massport, <br />GTPS and the cxxnmitt~ itself. <br />Ros Deiari briefly explained the c~mponants of the 47 Acres plan. Norm Faremelli said that <br />the Masspart Board has a concern about having hausir-g so near the airport because of ~ traffic <br />but it is in support of the proposal to re-locate the road. <br />The National Park Service made a presentation of the varies possibilities for park road <br />changes. Bob Nash briefly discussed the process to be falloweci from here on in. During the winter <br />there will be a searies of public meetings to explain the proposal chosen by the Park Service. He will <br />have some cost figures at that time. Written comments from members of HATS or the communities <br />would be welcome. <br />The next meeting of the committee is scheduled for September i l at 7:30 p.m. The meeting <br />adjourned at 9:40 p.m. <br />Judy Uhrig <br />
