Crain. <br /> MOTION: That the unused borrowing authorizations of $10,000 voted <br /> under Article 17 of the Warrant for the 1973 Annual Town Meeting and <br /> $35,000 voted under_ Article 55 of the Warrant for the 1973 Annual <br /> Town Meeting be hereby rescinded. <br /> Carried Unanimously. 9:29 P.M. <br /> Article 3. Presented by Robert B. Kent. (See Page 523) <br /> MOTION: That the sum of $35,000.00 be appropriated for the following <br /> line items, to be used in conjunction with money appropriated under <br /> Article 4 of the Warrant for the 1979 Annual Town Meeting, and that <br /> to raise such amount $35,000.00 be transferred from the Excess and <br /> Deficiency Account. <br /> Account # Amount <br /> 5250 $14,000.00 <br /> 5600 15,000.00 <br /> 7550 6,000.00 <br /> 9:31 P.M. <br /> Mr. Kent explained that Account #5250 was for roof repair at the <br /> Visitors Center and energy costs and #5600 Street Lights was also <br /> for increased energy costs. The total requests for Reserve Fund <br /> transfers are $130,372 against a current balance of $108,752.46. <br /> These requests total $35,000 leaving an anticipated balance of <br /> $13,380.46 in the Reserve Fund if Article 3 is adopted. <br /> 9:33 P.M. <br /> Donald B. White said that the Appropriation Committee supported this <br /> motion. 9:33 P.M. <br /> Roy Weinstein moved that Article 3 be amended to include $10,000. to <br /> cover added rental space in the Church of Our Redeemer for the <br /> remainder of the present fiscal year. 9:37 P.M. <br /> The Moderator called a recess at 9:37 P.M. and called the meeting to <br /> order again at 9:45 P.M. <br /> Article 3. Roy Weinstein asked that his amendment be withdrawn and there were <br /> (Cont.) no objections, therefore, the Moderator declared the amendment <br /> withdrawn. 9:49 P.M. <br /> Motion, as presented by Mr. Kent, declared carried unanimously. <br /> 9:55 P.M. <br /> Article 4.
