SPECIA ELECTION - TOWN MEETI MEMB ERS - PRECINCT SIX <br /> March 26, 1980 <br /> A special election for Town Meeting Members of Precinct Six only was held <br /> Wednesday, March 26, 1980 at 7:30 P.M. in Estabrook Hall to fill the vacancy <br /> caused by the resignation of H. Bigelow Moore, 50 Hancock Street on March 17, <br /> 1980. As there was no defeated candidate from the March 3, 1980 Annual Town <br /> Election available, it was necessary for the existing members from Precinct Six <br /> to elect a member from among the registered voters of Precinct Six. <br /> There were eleven (11) Town Meeting Members from Precinct Six present. <br /> Susan S. Solomon acted as Chairman of the meeting and Margaret N. Brooke <br /> acted as Clerk of the meeting. <br /> The following nominations were made from the floor: <br /> Name and Address Nominated By <br /> Judith B. Marshall, 6 Chandler Street Edith Sandy <br /> Dean H. Curtin, 33 Adams Street Earl F. Baldwin, Jr. <br /> The election was held by secret (paper) ballot, counted by the Chairman <br /> and the Clerk, results as follows: <br /> Candidate Votes Received <br /> Judith B. Marshall 9 <br /> Dean H. Curtin 2 <br /> Total 11 <br /> Judith B. Marshall was duly elected as a Town Meeting Member in Precinct <br /> Six for a term ending in March 1981 and hereby accepts her election. <br /> Six <br /> Town Meeting Member Position in Precinct /(until March 1981) is hereby <br /> accepted. <br /> /Signed/ Judith B.
