183 <br /> (ADJOURNED SESSION, A.T.M. , CONT. - APRIL 26, 1995) <br /> ARTICLE 14 AUTHORIZE RECEIPT OF GRANT FOR PURCHASE <br /> OF TRANSIT VEHICLES <br /> MOTION: A. ) That the Town be authorized to accept a <br /> grant for the purchase of up to seven Adopted <br /> alternate fuel transit vehicles and that the <br /> Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen <br /> be authorized to borrow in anticipation of <br /> such grant; and <br /> B. ) That the Town be authorized to accept a <br /> grant for the operation of a seasonal Adopted <br /> trolley service between Lexington and <br /> Concord for a period of up to two years <br /> and that the Treasurer with the approval <br /> of the Selectmen be authorized to borrow <br /> in anticipation of such grant. <br /> 9:10 p.m. Presented by Selectman Eddison. <br /> The Moderator stated that the question would be divided. <br /> Mrs. Eddison explained. No money would be coming from <br /> the tax levy. <br /> 9:15 p.m. Gloria Holland, Capital Expenditures Committee, <br /> recommended authorization. <br /> 9:15 p.m. Paul LaPointe, Appropriation Committee, asked <br /> the Moderator to recognize Robert Leone of the Committee. <br /> Mr. Leone stated the opposition of the Appropriation <br /> Committee. <br /> 9:20 p.m. Mrs. Eddison asked the Moderator to recognize <br /> Barbara Lucas, Transportation Coordinator.
