Turning Mill Neighborhood Conservation District (TMNCD) COMMISSION <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> May 26, 2020 <br /> Call to Order: A public meeting of the Turning Mill Neighborhood Conservation District <br /> Commission was held virtually via Zoom meeting. The meeting convened at 7:30 PM. <br /> TMNCD Commission Members in Attendance: <br /> Diane Pursley, Renata Cathou, Richard Canale, Eric Peterson, Marilyn Fenollosa(alternate) <br /> Absent: Jim Dowling <br /> Public in Attendance: Tina McBride <br /> AGENDA ITEM #1 <br /> Continued public hearing on the proposed garage addition at 5 Dewey Road <br /> APPLICANT (S) PRESENT: <br /> Rob DiPierro, DiPierro & Brown Construction (representing the property owners) <br /> ABUTTER(S) PRESENT: <br /> None <br /> DOCUMENT(S): <br /> Site Plan manually updated May 2020 <br /> SUMMARY: The applicant sketched the garage to be moved to the right of the property with the <br /> garage door facing the street and the driveway leading directly into the garage. Mr. DiPierro <br /> expressed concern that the garage cannot be moved too far to the right because of the ledge. <br /> TMNCD COMMENTS: All Commission members agreed the proposed placement of the <br /> garage worked well and were supportive of the proposal. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS: <br /> None <br /> RECOMMENDATION/NEXT STEPS: Mr. DiPierro will now work with the surveyor to <br /> update the survey and update the plans. He will contact the Chair to schedule one final meeting. <br /> The deliverables for the meeting will include: <br /> • Combined elevations of the house and garage with new plan <br /> • Landscape plan in the area of the new garage to promote the wooded aesthetic of the <br /> neighborhood. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Moved by Ms. Cathou to approve preliminary draft plan subject to the receipt of the final <br /> drawings and specs including the elevations and landscape plan. Seconded by Mr. Peterson. <br /> VOTE: <br />
