Publicity <br /> • It was noted that the Boston Globe and WBZ will have some publicity for Lexington <br /> Patriots Day activities. <br /> • Sandy Podgorski reported that articles about Patriots Day activities will be published in <br /> the next editions of the Lexington Minuteman paper and Colonial Times Magazine. <br /> Memorial Day 2021 <br /> • June said it was the 160'h anniversary of the start of the Civil War. She is in talks with <br /> local historians about a program about the Civil War on Lex Media. Approximately 120 <br /> Civil War veterans are buried in Munroe Cemetery, which could tie in with a cemetery <br /> walk or self-guided tour. <br /> • It was reported that we will be laying the usual wreaths for Memorial Day but there will <br /> be no parade. <br /> • Geetha suggested sponsoring a Trivia Bee. <br /> • Glen suggested having static displays at some gravesites and publicizing their locations. <br /> • Sandy noted that if we are going to put flags on the Green, we need to petition the Select <br /> Board for permission. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8:01 p.m. Next meetings: Wednesday, 4/28/21 and 5/12/21 <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Suzanne Caton, Secretary <br />
