Bikeway Kiosks - DPW has reached out to Melissa Jarvis (sp) for design. Kevin has suggested that Econ Dev assume responsibility; Peggy said that the EconDev/Tourism had been asked to take over the project and then neglected to follow through. Having Econ Dev/Tourism own the "side" of the kiosk that contains local business information on a town map makes sense, but someone needs to oversee the whole project. David Kucharsky worked with Peggy on the original project, on behalf of DPW. [Sheila Page was the natural replacement for David Kucharsky but that transition didn't fully happen, and Dave P has the kiosk, but other things will likely end with Sheila in Planning] Susan Barrett spoke on how staff are distributed in the tree, our suggestions need to go Select Board -> Town Manager -> Human Services -> "transportation" which covers a list of at least 10 folks. Carol Kowalski is one of the suggestions of senior managers who can own that umbrella.
