:: :: MAP Lexington Housing Partnership Board Meeting Minutes for November 5, 2020 Attendees:Jeri Foutter, Harriet Cohen, Mary Haskell, Melinda Walker, Melanie Thompson, Paul Linton, Robert Peters, Bob Pressman, Betsey Weiss Absent: Wendy Manz, Rich McDonough Guest: Matt Daggett The Housing Partnership Board (HPB) meeting was chaired by Jeri Foutter and minutes were taken by Harriet Cohen.The meeting was called to order at 7:32 pm. 1. Call to Order 2. Community Housing Article for Special Town Meeting Mr. Daggett discussed with the committee the addition of an exemption for smaller houses to the housing article. Mr. Daggett responded to several other questions from the HPB. The HPB then discussed the community housing article with a goal of fully understanding the impact of the article. Ms. Cohen moved that the HPB support the community housing article. Mr. Linton seconded. The motion was approved unanimously. Ms. Foutter will confirm the support of the HPB in an email message to Mr. Daggett. Ms. Foutter will also update Mark Sandeen as to the support of the HPB. Mr. Sandeen is the Select Board liaison to the HPB. Ms. Cohen moved that the HPB recommend that the LHF move forward with its proposal for CPC funding. Ms. Haskell seconded.The motion passed unanimously. 3. CPC Application for 40R 40S Consultant Ms. Foutter summarized the email discussion with Marilyn Fenellosa regarding the opinion of the town counsel regarding the CPC application.The town counsel has provided the opinion that the CPC application is not an acceptable use of CPA funds. As such, the Community Preservation Committee will not consider the application. 4. Rental Assistance This discussion was tabled for a later meeting. S. Adjournment Ms. Cohen moved adjournment, Ms. Weiss seconded the motion.The motion was approved unanimously.The meeting adjourned at 9:21 pm
