Ms. Battite added <br /> that this item can be mentioned at a Sports Advisory Council meeting to see if any of the sports <br /> organizations can contribute towards this effort. <br /> Regarding the locations, Mr Crogan stated that at Lincoln#1,the scoreboard would be installed <br /> in the corner closest to Temple Isaiah,the scoreboard at Lincoln#2 would be displayed in the <br /> corner closest to the parking lot and Little League Feld, and at Lincoln#3,the scoreboard would <br /> be in the left-front corner of the field by#3 and#1. Mr. Crogan added that LYL is open to <br /> modifying the placement of the scoreboards, if necessary. When asked when the installation will <br /> be taking place, Mr. Crogan informed the Committee that LYL would like to move forward with <br /> this project as soon as possible this fall. For the operation of the scoreboards,they are solar- <br /> powered and app-based, so organizations will be able to operate the scoreboards from a <br /> smartphone or tablet once the app is downloaded to the device. <br /> After the time of questions and answers and discussion, Rick DeAngelis, Chairman of the <br /> Recreation Committee,made the following motion: "The Recreation Committee moves to <br /> approve the installation of three (3)scoreboards with above-ground footings at Lincoln Park. <br /> The locations for the scoreboards will be determined in the field by the DPW Director and the <br /> Director of Recreation and Community Programs or their designee. Upon completion of the <br /> installation, Lexington Youth Lacrosse (LYL) will donate the scoreboards to the Town of <br /> Lexington." Lisah Rhodes seconded the motion.
