Doug Lucente is managing the process of getting the banner <br /> printed. <br /> • The banner will be hung from November 9 through 13.a <br /> Gift Cards for Veterans: <br /> • June and Kim Katzenbach from the Selectmen's Office will purchase 150 $10 gift cards <br /> from Dunkin by 10115, using the Town credit card. <br /> • Glen Bassett has written the letter to be sent with the gift cards. June will send out to the <br /> committee for review. <br /> • There currently are 119 names on the list of recipients. <br /> Veterans Day Video: <br /> • Mary Hutton reported that the working group had a meeting with Terry of Lex Media <br /> today to review the script for the video. <br /> • Lex Media will film the Lexington Minutemen ringing the bell of the USS Lexington, <br /> posting the colors, and firing a volley. <br /> • The reading of their selected essays by High School students will be included in the <br /> video. <br /> • Also included in the video will be the Lexington High School Band playing the military <br /> service songs, a tribute to Dan Fenn being managed by Steve Cole, and the unveiling of a <br /> memorial plaque for Lexington's WWII military. <br /> • Mary asked the committee to send her any further ideas for inclusion in the video. <br /> Car Parade for Veterans on November 11, 2020: <br /> • June reported that 21 veterans have been confirmed to participate in the parade. <br /> • June noted that several classic cars will be included in the parade. <br /> • It has been decided that parade participants should gather in the Community Center <br /> parking lot between 12:15 and 12:30, with step-off of the parade at 1 pm. <br />
