HISTORICAL COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> April 15th, 2020 <br /> Call to Order: A public meeting of the Historical Commission was held remotely through <br /> Zoom. The meeting convened at 7:30PM. <br /> Historical Commission Members in Attendance: <br /> Marilyn Fenollosa Chair, David Kelland, Wendall Kalsow and Diane Pursley <br /> AGENDA ITEM #1 (7:30 PM) <br /> Public hearing on the partial building demolition at 4 Chase Avenue <br /> APPLICANT (S) PRESENT: <br /> Grady Ragsdale, project contractor <br /> Keith and Jennifer Eisenman, homeowners <br /> ABUTTER(S) PRESENT: <br /> None <br /> DOCUMENT(S): <br /> - Historical Commission application with attachments,prepared by Grady Ragsdale <br /> - Plans, "2020 Eisenman Residence Interior Renovations", prepared by NEDC, dated <br /> 3/31/2020 (14 Sheets) with attached Classic Double Hung window specs <br /> SUMMARY: <br /> The applicants proposes to partially demolish the existing dwelling and rebuild a two story <br /> addition (basement and first floor of dwelling). The applicant proposes to match to exterior vinyl <br /> siding and trim to the rest of the dwelling and install double hung windows. <br /> HC COMMENTS: <br /> The Commission voiced their support for the project. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Moved by Mr. Kelland to find 4 Chase Avenue historically significant but to allow partial <br /> building demolition. Seconded by Mr. Kalsow. <br /> VOTE: <br /> 4-0 In favor of partial building demolition: Ms. Fenollosa Mr. Kelland, Mr. Kalsow, and Ms. <br /> Pursley <br />
