 June Baer reported on her research on the use of national flags in the parade. The committee agreed that any national flags can be carried by marching units, with the caveat that if the American flag is also carried by a unit, the other national flag must be carried lower than the American flag.  Suzanne Caton noted that the sponsorship letter and form are ready to be sent and asked for volunteers to help stuff envelopes. She also reminded the committee that we have 3 sponsors from last year who asked for a credit for this year’s parade because of the problems with last year’s parade.  The committee asked that the policy regarding political campaigns participating in the parade be clarified. June Baer will review past committee meeting minutes to clarify the policy.
