<br />PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br />MEETING OF NOVEMBER 6, 2019 <br /> <br />A meeting of the Lexington Planning Board, held in the Parker Room, in the Town Office <br />Building was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by Chair Bob Creech with members Ginna Johnson, <br />Charles Hornig, Robert Peters and planning staff Eve Tapper present. Richard Canale joined the <br />meeting in progress at 7:22 p.m. <br />**********************DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION*********************** <br />Restrict Automatic Teller Machine use in the CB District, Discuss and Approve Report For <br />Special Town Meeting: <br />The Board discussed changes to a draft Planning Board Report on Article 6 to Town Meeting. <br />All of the members expressed various opinions on how to make sure the report accurately <br />described the purpose and efficacy of Article 6. <br />On a motion of Mr. Hornig, seconded by Mr. Canale, it was voted, 5-0, to approve the Planning <br />Board’s report on Article 6 to Special Town Meeting as amended. <br />*************************BOARD ADMINISTRATION**************************** <br />Hartwell Avenue Zoning Initiative Discussion: <br />Board members discussed the pros and cons of housing options for Hartwell Avenue as well as <br />statewide programs that may provide incentives for a mixed-use environment in the area. They <br />also mentioned how the 25% design funding for Hartwell Avenue as requested in Article 8 is <br />related to the zoning initiative. <br />Schedule: <br />The next meeting for the Planning Board is Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the <br />Parker Room at Town Hall. If needed, the Board is also scheduled to meet on Wednesday, <br />November 13, 2019 before the second night of Special Town Meeting. <br />Board Member and Staff Updates: <br />Ms. Tapper told the Board that the public hearing on the Cotting School construction project <br />th <br />would be postponed from to December 4 at the request of the applicant. <br /> <br />On a motion, duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn the meeting at 8:59 p.m. <br /> <br />LexMedia began recording the meeting in progress at 7:20pm. <br /> <br />Robert Peters, Clerk <br />
