• Linda suggested that the essay writers by asked to march in the parade. <br /> • Sue Stering noted that this year, students have been encouraged to participate in the <br /> Veteran's Day activities by way of art work, photos, and videos as well as essays. <br /> October 28 is the date when the winning essays will be chosen. <br /> Patriots' Day 2020 <br /> • June Baer reported that a full stakeholders meeting will take place tomorrow, October 10, <br /> at 9:30 a.m., where she will present suggestions from the TCC for changes to the Youth <br /> Sunrise Parade. Lorain asked TCC members to attend the meeting if possible. <br /> • June noted that the sub-committee looking into changes to Patriots Day hopes to increase <br /> participation by Town members and to increase the sense of community. The sub- <br /> committee has been meeting with various stakeholders individually for several weeks to <br /> discuss options and ideas for changes. <br /> • June showed the committee the Power Point presentation that will be used at the <br /> stakeholders meeting and the committee discussed the contents. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted <br /> Suzanne Caton, Secretary <br />
