CONDOMINIUM CONVERSION BOARD <br /> Members: 5 <br /> Appointed by: Board of Selectmen <br /> Length of Term: 3 years <br /> Appoinhnents made: September 30 <br /> Meering Times: As needed <br /> Description: The Condominium Conversion Board is responsible for establishing license fees; notifying abutters of <br /> proposed condominium sites;holding public hearings;filing a decision with the Town Clerk; and holding hearings <br /> regarding eviction licenses and making decisions concerning such issues. In addition,the Conversion Board is <br /> liable to appeal on any of its decisions. <br /> Criteria for Membershiu: Members of this board inust demonstrate sound judgment and knowledge of housing and <br /> land planning issues. Members of this board may also consist of ineinbers of any official committee,coinmission, <br /> or other authority in the town at the discretion of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Re£: Lexington Code Chapter 63 §6 <br /> Selectmen designated as Special Municipal Employees on December l4, 1987. <br /> Selectmen reaffirmed designarion as Special Municipal Employees on January 18,2006. <br />
