<br />LEXINGTON DESIGN ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />Minutes of Meeting of January 9, 2019 <br /> <br />A meeting of the Design Advisory Committee (DAC) was held on January 9, 2019 at 7:00 pm in the Ellen <br />Stone Room located on the first floor of Cary Memorial Hall, Lexington, MA. <br /> <br />Members Present: Tim Lee, John Frey, Brigitte Steines, Caroline Fitzgerald, Steve Vincent, Richard <br />Friedson, Alenka Slezak, Jill Hai <br /> <br />Members Absent: Bruce Creager, Bahig Kaldas <br /> <br />Approvals: Previous meeting minutes approved <br /> <br />The Committee meeting reviewed and acted on the following item(s): <br /> <br />1. Wireless facility application, 251 Waltham Street Lexington High School property (Park Drive). <br /> Committee reviewed the application and design of the new small cell wireless facility <br /> Communications committee recommended approval <br /> Some members did not like the appearance of the facility, found it unappealing <br /> After review and discussion of the application the Committee unanimously agreed to <br />recommend approval of the sign to the Zoning Board of Appeals. <br /> <br />Exhibits presented at our meeting: <br /> 252 Waltham Street <br />1. Copy of design package – Verizon & Nexius Lexington_SC02_MA Park Drive Lexington, MA <br />T-1, A-1 through A-4 dated 11/27/19 <br />2. Nexius Small Cell Telecommunications Facility Lexington_SC02_MA Park Drive Lexington, <br />MA – Photo simulations – 4 sheets <br /> <br />Other Business: <br /> <br />1. General discussion regarding the upcoming center streetscape town meeting vote <br /> Important to get the word out <br /> Debunk misinformation <br /> What can the DAC do to help? <br /> <br />2.
