<br />MINUTES <br /> <br />FUND FOR LEXINGTON BOARD <br /> <br />September 16, 2014 <br />4:30 p.m., Selectmen’s Office <br /> <br />Present: Norman Cohen, Rev. Colletti, Ed Grant, Alan Wrigley, Alan Fields; Charlotte Rodgers, <br />Director of Human Services. <br /> <br />1. Money Available as of 8/31/14 Income $51,906 <br /> Principal $131,233 <br /> <br /> <br />2. Human Services: <br />a. Human Services Report: April 30, 2014 to September 16, 2014. <br />Charlotte Rodgers reported that a number of utility bills had been paid after receiving <br />requests for payment. Currently being reviewed are three requests for rental <br />payments. Information was also presented regarding homeless families living at the <br />Quality Inn and plans for the future. <br />b. Ratify Poll Vote - Human Services Request for $2,000 for Human Services <br />Emergency Checking Account – Ratified 5-0. In addition, Alan Fields suggested that <br />a meeting should be held to discuss how the Human Services Fund administered by <br />the Trustees of Public Trusts, the LexHab Emergency Housing Fund and other local <br />charitable funds are being utilized. <br />c. Ratify Human Services Request - $600 for Stop & Shop Gift Cards – Ratified 5-0. <br />d. Ratify Human Services Request - $600 for Market Basket Gift Cards – Ratified 5-0. <br /> <br />3. Other Issues: <br />a. Norman Cohen will draft a holiday fund raising letter. <br /> <br />4. Next Meeting <br /> The next meeting will be on January 27, 2015. <br /> <br />5. Approval of the April 28, 2014 minutes - Approved 5-0. <br /> <br />
