3. Public Comments <br /> Pastor Maracle discussed the incident in NJ in which a wrestler had his <br /> dreadlocks cut off before a match. He also noted the need to revisit rules <br /> and well-meaning initiatives that are counter to cultural norms of some <br /> groups. <br /> 4. Approval of Minutes <br /> a. October— no changes. Motion to approve by Ms. Gisolfi, approved by <br /> all present. <br /> b. November minutes —under 5, add a bullet "Ms. Brodner requested that <br /> LHRC develop guidelines for sponsorship of events" Motion to <br /> Amend November minutes made by Ms. Brodner, approved by all <br /> present. Motion to approve amended minutes made by Ms. Gisolfi, <br /> approved by all present. <br /> c. December minutes — <br /> under 3a "Mabel Amar spoke" instead of"Mabel Amar poke" <br /> For 7d, Ms. Brodner clarified what she said namely, Ms. Brodner also <br /> requested that get mins out within a week of the meeting, Ms. Brodner <br /> sent info to Mr. Osborne on Anti Bias training [to] for TMM and <br /> wanted to follow up to see if BOS knows this information and will act <br /> upon it. Discussion among members re: should Mr. Osborne put this <br /> on the next agenda for further discussion. <br /> Ms. Brodner motioned to approve amended minutes as discussed <br /> approved by all. <br /> 5. Chair Report <br /> a. MLK Day of Service, January 21, 2019, Unity Walk— after discussion, <br /> noted that LHRC will not walk as a group <br /> b.
