YOUTH COMMISSION <br /> Members: Six (6) <br /> Appointed By: Town Manager <br /> (With Board of Selectmen Approval) <br /> Appointed: April 30 <br /> Term Length: 3 Years <br /> Description: The Youth Commission was established for the purpose of <br /> carrying out programs, which may be designed or established to <br /> provide opportunities for or meet challenges of youth in the Town. <br /> Examples of such programs are alcohol-drug education, youth <br /> recognition awards, and recreational and community events. The <br /> Commission is mandated to appoint an advisory committee <br /> consisting of younger persons. <br /> Criteria for <br /> Membership: Open.
