Town of Lexington <br /> Lexington Center Committee <br /> Draft minutes for the February 14th, 2019 meeting of the Lexington Center Committee <br /> Parker Room, ground floor, 1625 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington Massachusetts <br /> Center Committee Members: Richard Brown, Frederic Johnson, Howard Levin, Pamela <br /> Lyons, Jerold Michelson (Chair), Pamela Shadley, David Tabeling <br /> Liaisons: Joe Pato, Board of Selectmen, Frank Smith, Capital Expenditures Committee, <br /> Melisa Tintocalis, Economic Development Director, Dave Pinsonneault, Department of <br /> Public Works, Megan Zammuto, Economic Development Department, Casey Hagerty <br /> Guests: Mark Sandeen, Sustainable Lexington, Bridger McGaw, TMM Precinct 6, Mateo <br /> Gallizio, LaDolda <br /> Dave Pinsonnealt reminded us funding for 100% of the construction funds for the <br /> Center Streetscape project is coming before Town Meeting. There's a possibility of a <br /> grant from America Works but project must be shovel ready and financial commitments <br /> must be in place first. Awarding of this grant might cause a small delay but project <br /> must be completed by Fall 2024 for 2025. The Ad Hoc Committee is providing technical <br /> guidance. Pam Shadley stressed the importance of providing accurate information to <br /> the public. <br /> Sean Dugan introduced himself as the Town's new public information officer. This is a <br /> newly created position devoted to improving communication with the community at <br /> large. In particular Sean could be helpful with disseminating information about the <br /> streetscape plan. <br /> Mateo Galizzio of LaDolda introduced himself. LaDolda (going into the empty Great <br /> Harvest space) will have artisanal Italian gourmet pasta. <br /> Bridger McGaw discussed two articles regarding economic development that he is <br /> bringing to Town Meeting. The purpose is to address the imbalance between the <br /> residential and commercial tax bases. The articles would support an economic <br />
