0.0 <br /> SELEC TMEN'S MEETING <br /> February 1, 1961 <br /> A special meeting of the Board cf Selectmen was <br /> held in the Selectmen' s Room, Town Office Building, on <br /> Wednesday, February 1, 1961, at 8:00 P.M. Chairman <br /> Morey, Messrs . Adams , Ferguson, Richards, and Cole <br /> were present . <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted <br /> to appoint Mr . Cole Secretary pro tem. <br /> The Planning Board met with the Selectmen and it <br /> was agreed by both Boards to have a committee of two <br /> from each Board to review, accept, and consider all <br /> Land Use propositions for land use other than residential. <br /> The following subjects were agreed upon by both <br /> Boards: <br /> No partial rezoning be considered on <br /> Waltham Street. <br /> Desirable to restore certain C 1 area <br /> to R 1. <br /> Insert an article in the warrant re M1 <br /> Proposed steps toimprove so-called <br /> Savings Bank Parking Lot . <br /> The Planning Board retired. <br /> Further discussion was held relative to agents <br /> Insurance participating in the commission on the Town' s insurance <br /> and it was voted three to one to defer action for four <br /> weeks. <br /> Report was received from the committee appointed <br /> to study and review the precinct boundaries . There <br /> being very little difference in the number of voters <br /> in each precinct, the committee recommended no change <br /> Precincts at the present time . It did, however, recommend that <br /> a committee be appointed in 1963 to re-study the sub- <br /> ject and make definite recommendations so that any <br /> change could be voted on at the Annual Town Meeting <br /> in 1964. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted <br /> to appoint Mr. Cole to represent the Board on Monday <br /> evening, February 20, at the annual inter-faith meeting <br /> commemorating the occasion of Brotherhood Month. <br />
