May 70 1958 <br /> The Historic Districts Commission met May 70 1958 in the <br /> Selectmen's Room to hold three hearings, Present were <br /> Messrs. Davis, Parsons, Taylor and Associate Members Howard <br /> and Mrs.Merriam. <br /> FOSTERS- 7:30 P-M, - Mr. Davis read the notice. Mr.Foster <br /> wags of he impreesion that where the only change in the sign <br /> at 2.83, Mass. ve. was a change in lettering, he did not have to <br /> have a certificate. Mr.Davis said he had cleared this point <br /> with fir. Stevens and hence the needi-,for the hearing. It was <br /> unamixnously voted to grant this certificate. <br /> FrRST CONGREGATIONAL SOCIITy OF TRXI:NGTOX- 8:00 P.V. Certificate will be granted.. <br /> FETIX REALTY `PRUST-8s30 P.M. - Mr.Davis read the notice. <br /> The building-at S-c Tuz Bey S will use hardware from Sehlage Look <br /> Co. Design Plymouth. Paint will be Dover Gray No. 224 as <br /> ntassaf'actured by Pratt 8: Lambert, Inc. A sample of the wrought <br /> iron railing was brought in and this will. be painted black. <br /> The walls of the building are stained. The door will be black. <br /> hite trim will be used on sashes. There are no screens on <br /> at present but would be supplied by tenants. However, they would <br /> be either all white or all almminwa. If blinds are put on <br /> later, they will be the slat type and would be black. In answer <br /> to a question, the steps are cement with brick facing. <br /> Viss 47iang asked regarding occupational signs and this point will <br /> be the ekz with Mr. Stevens. <br /> There are four suite; at present in the building and each suite has <br /> 3 offices. Certificate will be granted. <br /> Hearings ad;curned at 8 45 P.M. <br /> GENERAL- Xr.Parsons said Mr. Dearborn of leeland Realty has <br /> s_own a a. sample of the Maroon color he wants to use on the sign. <br /> This is 9.R. <br /> Mr. John WaeNeil had: aabmitted a letter enclosing sketch of the <br /> sign he wants to use on the new building at 15 Depot o, Mr.YacNeil <br /> sas reached by telephone and came in to answer some questions <br /> regarding this. He would like to use the *.words "Liberty Building" <br /> if passible on this si n. At present two panels are to be lettered- <br /> MacNeil Insurance Agency and aVinut�,s-Kan Pin 1 ications.. Inc.
