March 5, 1958 <br /> A meeting of the Historic Districts Commission was held <br /> March 5 , 1958 at 7:30 P.M. in the Selectmen's Room. Due to the <br /> fact that MIr.R-asell Kettell is in the hospital after an operation., <br /> the hearing had to be postpon d on the application for a <br /> certificate of appropriateness of John M. Gea han of 16 Tavern <br /> Lane for the erection of a wrought iron fence . As both of <br /> our alternates were away$ a hearin?, was impossible. <br /> An application has been received from the Lexington Field and <br /> Garden Club who wish to place markers on the trees on the grounds, <br /> of Buckman tavern and the Lexington Green. <br /> An application for another hearing has been received from the <br /> Hancock Congregational Church. <br /> It was decided to hold these three hearings on one night, <br /> Wednesday# April 2nd.
