Town of Lexington <br /> Sustainable Lexington Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting of October 25, 2016 <br /> A meeting of the Sustainable Lexington Committee (SLC) was held on October 25, 2016 <br /> at the Town Office Building. A quorum of five was present. <br /> Members Present: Mark Sandeen, Marcia Gens, Dan Voss, Todd Rhodes, Rick <br /> Reibstein <br /> Members Absent: None <br /> Other Attendees: Joe Pato, Board of Selectmen <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm. <br /> Board of Selectment Updatee (J. Pato) <br /> • The Selectmen discussed the project to place solar panels on the Route 128 sound <br /> barriers. No significant concerns were raised about the project. The importance of <br /> reaching out to abutters to be sure there were no concerns about being able to see the <br /> topmost panels was discussed. <br /> Getting to Net Zero (M. Sandeen) <br /> • The task force is about 50% complete. <br /> Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) (M. Sandeen) <br /> • PACE was included in the omnibus energy bill passed earlier this year. <br /> • The program is designed to attach clean energy loans to the value of the property and <br /> paid back through property taxes. <br /> • The committee agreed to prepare a warrant article for Town Meeting to allow the <br /> town to implement PACE loans. <br /> Building Performance Guidelines (M.
