There were a number of extra letters and she asked people to take some and hand them to
potential donors. A number of members took the remaining letters.
Banners
Kim stated that, in order to get the banners, we need to have the specifications we are looking
for. More than one group may be sponsoring a marching unit. Suzanne agreed to get the list of
specifications so we can put the work out to bid. She mentioned that Lex Graphics might be
able to do the work.
The Stakeholders' Meeting
Lorain briefed everyone on the Stakeholders meeting that was held the day before at the Town
Hall. She described the meeting as productive. There were no real surprises. Among the
positive take-aways was an assurance by both the Police and the DPW that road construction
on Mass. Avenue will not interfere in any way with the parade. Doug Lucente also offered 70
parking places on One Militia Drive.
Lorain also mentioned that, after the meeting, Dawn McKenna had asked that we put a logo,
"Linger Lexington" on our programs. We were not sure whose logo it was. It is not the
town's. Maybe it is the logo for the Economic Development Committee? Kim sent a text to
Suzie Barry, asking whether we needed to add the logo to our programs. The reply was that we
do not have to add it and the decision was made not to do so.
