TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />Massachusetts <br />02173 <br />Minutes of January 7, 1998 Meeting <br />Commissioners in attendance: <br />PETITIONS HEARD: <br />INFORMAL HEARING: <br />HISTORIC DISTRICTS COMMISSION <br />1433 Massachusetts Avenue - Linda and David Williams presented plans for moving, removing and installation of <br />windows and a skylight in the tear of the house. The changes were approved. Certificate 98C-01. <br />19 Muzzev Street - Stephen Garrity presented a sign for the Lexington Medical Associates that would be the same <br />square footage as the existing sign and installed in the same location but a bit higher to avoid blocking drivers' sight <br />lines. The sign was approved. Certificate 98C-02 <br />45 Waltham Street - Guardian Savings presented a plan to replace both the rear and front glass storefronts with <br />tempered glass. It was approved. The signage in the building had never been approved so the hearing was continued <br />to allow the signage to be presented at a future hearing. Certificate 98C -03. <br />1707 Massachusetts Avenue - Overall Music sought permission to illuminate its projecting sign that is already there. <br />Two spotlights, one on each side, were approved. Certificate 98C-04. <br />17524768 Massachusetts Avenue - Jeffrey Lyon wanted to renew a prior permit for roofing. Certificate 98C-05 <br />1709 Massachusetts Avenue - Howard Gevertz presented signs for his new restaurant. The signs, including a menu <br />box were approved. The hearing was continued to allow funwe consideration of coach lights and the disposition of the <br />rear awning. Certificate 98C-06. <br />10 Bloomfield - Matthew Sadler and his architect presented plans for an addition to his house. <br />
