M. on Wednesday, November 28, 1979 in the Select-
men's Room, Town Office Building, Lexington. Present were
Commissioner John R. Packard, Chairman, Georgia H. Williams,
Secretary, John L. Davies, Roland Greeley, S. Lawrence Whipple,
and Associate Commissioner Linda J. McAuletY•
At 800 P.M. Mr. Richard Morehouse presented the appli-
cation of Peking Garden (Lexington Enterprises) for an amend-
ment to its certificate #77 C-40 dated 6/29/77 concerning a
rooftop fence for the parking lot elevation. The fence pre-
viously approved, but not installed, would have had alternating
I
slots in two rows. After discussion, the Commission VOTED to
approve a simpler fence having only one row of slats, which
the applicant believes will hide rooftop fans just as well as
the earlier model, and will improve rooftop air circulation.
At 8s30 P.M. Jerry Slack presented his plans for adapting
the porch at 1640-1644 to the needs of a bicycle sales and
repair shop. The porch will be widened, a ramp and planters

will be installed. Following a brief discussion the Commission
VOTED to approve the plane.
At 8:30 P.M. Helen K. and Peter Cambourelis submitted
their plans for changes to the exterior of the 15-17 Muzzey
premises owned by Lois Ernst Iric. Realtors. The plans con-
templated removal of the front porch, to be replaced by a

Georgian style vestibule; three skylights in the front roof;

a full dormer with doors and fire escapes on the rear elevation.
