Mr. Morehouse suggested that it might <br /> improve the appearance of the store front if the entrance door was moved <br /> to the left to abut the pier, and Mr. Davies agreed that it would look bet- <br /> ter. Following discussion, Mr. Davies moved that approval of the plans <br /> for changes to the store front be contingent upon the door being moved over <br /> to the left to be against the pilaster, seconded, and so VOTID. The only <br /> change in the rear of the store is the new sign which will be identical to <br /> the sign on the front of the building. The hearing was adjourned at 9:25 PM. <br /> Mr. Morrissette was requested to send new drawings showing the door change. <br /> Mr. Morehouse showed a sample of the letter proposed for the Isaac <br /> Harris Cary Memorial Building. Following discussion, it was decided that <br /> the Chairman should xrite Robert Kent and ask him to appear again to dis- <br /> cuss both location and xording of the sign. <br /> Mr. Packard said that the MBTA wants to replace existing signs with <br /> new one foot by one foot signs, and it was decided that these would not <br /> require approval by the Commission. <br /> Mr. Morehouse stated that the roof installations were completed for <br /> Peking Garden Restaurant and that they would be painted as soon as good <br /> weather permits. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 1000 P.M. <br /> Geor~a H.
