• <br /> HISTORIC DISTRICTS COMNJISSION <br /> A meeting of the Historic Districts Commission was held on Wednesday, <br /> February 23, 1972, in Room G15 of the Town Office Building, Lexington, at <br /> 7i~5 P.M. Present were Commissioners Wilbur M. Jaquith, Chairman; Philip <br /> B. Parsons, Secretary; Donald J. Shaw; Georgia H. Williams; and Associate <br /> Commissioner S. Lawrence Whipple. <br /> Mr. Jaquith submitted a Certificate of Appropriateness for the proposed <br /> building of The Lexington Mews Trust at 1012 Muzzey Street and considerable <br /> discussion ensued, with no action being taken at this time. <br /> At 9s10 P.M. an informal meeting was held with Paul 3ignorelli and <br /> Edith Sayre, Real Estate agent, regarding the erection of fencing for the <br /> property at 3 Tower Road which Mr. Signorelli planned to purchase. The <br /> fencing would have round posts and be a rail cedar fence, left to weather in <br /> its natural state and was to be installed for the Signorellis' dog. A hasty <br /> ing on this matter was scheduled for 8100 P.M. on Wednesday, March 15, 1972. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9t3a P.M. <br /> It was moved, seconded., and unanimously VOTED to issue a Certificate of <br /> <br /> Appropriateness to Salvatore Vella for the erection, maintenance, and display <br /> of a sign for the store at 1796 Massachusetts Avenue. Participating in this <br /> decision were Commissioners Wilbur M. Jaquith, Philip B. Parsons, Donald J. ~ <br /> Shaw, Georgia H. Williams, and Associate Commissioner S. Lawrence Whippl®. <br /> It was moved, seconded, and unanimously VOTED to issue a Certificate of <br /> <br /> Appropriateness to Carlton House Trust for the erection and display of two <br /> directory signs for the building at 19 Muzzey Street. Participating in this <br /> decision were Commissioners Wilbur M. Jaquith, Philip B. Parsons, Donald J. <br /> Shaw, Georgia H. Williams, and Associate Commissioner S. Lawrence Whipple. <br /> It was moved, seconded, and unanimously VOTED to issue a Permit for De- <br /> molition or Removal to Leonard J. Colwell for the garage on the premises at <br /> 4 Vine Brook Road. Participating in this decision were Commissioners Wilbur <br /> M. Jaquith, Philip B. Parsons, Donald J. Shaw, Georgia H.
