Pres- <br /> ent for the petitioner were Iier'rert Allen, First Vice President of the <br /> Bank, and E. T. and Peter Steffian, Architects. Also present ~•rere Joseph <br /> Trani of Joseph Trani, Inc. of 1775 Passachusetts Avenue; Wilbur M. Jaquith, <br /> Chairman of the Commission; and George W. Emery, Associa+~e Commissioner. <br /> Three sets of plans and one rendering of the exterior of the proposed Luild~ <br /> ing were submitted. The adjourned hearing was closed at 9x20 F.Tf. Follow- <br /> ing discussion, it was moved, seconded, and unanimously VOTED to issue a <br /> Certificate of Appropriateness to the ITarvard Trust Company for the erection <br /> of a building and the erection and display of signs at 1761-1765 l~;assachu~ <br /> setts Avenue. Participating in this decision were Commissioners pax H. <br /> Straw, Philip B. Parsons, George E. Graves, Georgia H. Williams, and Asso- <br /> ciate Commissioner Franklin C..iiudson. <br /> hlr. Jaquith assumed the chair at 10;30 P.M. Mr. Jaquith read a letter <br /> from Gary G, and LaRue Henry for an application for a Certificate of Appro- <br /> priateness with respect to change in color of the blinds and doors of the <br /> dwelling at 11 Iiancock Street, which is within the Hancock-Clarke District. <br /> It was moved, seconded, and unanimously VOTED to issue a Certificate of Ap- <br /> propriateness to Gary G. and LaRue Henry with respect to the change in color <br /> of the blinds and doors of the dwelling at 11 Iiancock Street. Participating <br /> in this decision were Commissioners Wilbur I'i. Jaquith, Philip B. Parsons, <br /> Iax H. Straw, George E. Graves, and Georgia H. Williams. <br /> Further items presented by Mr. Jaquith were letter from Czar Nicholas <br /> and the Toad, Inc. withdrawing their earlier application and submitting a <br /> new application (hearing scheduled for Ma.y 20th); letter regarding hearing <br /> on landscaping for addition of T7r. & Mrs. William R. Hutchison to dwelling <br /> at Hunt Road (scheduled for Iwfay 6th at 9;15 P.M. if landscape drawings <br /> prepared); copies of plot plan distributed showing proposed fence location <br /> at 1932 Massachusetts Avenue (hearing scheduled for ray 6th) and also copies <br /> of letter written by Mr. Nye to Rev.
