Straw, George E. Graves, Georgia <br /> li. ~~illiams, and Associate Commissioners George td. Emery, Franklin C, <br /> Hudson, and C. Lawrarce WYiipple. It was moved, seconded, and VOTED that <br /> Nir. S},xaw serve as Chairman Pro Tem. The chair appointed Mr, Hudson to <br /> servo for Wilbur Iii. Jaquith who was unable to be present and A;r. Emery to <br /> serve for Philip B. Parsons who was arable to be present, It was moved, <br /> seconded, and VOTED that i°irs. Wiliia:ns s~~°ve as wecra;,ary 1'ro Tam. <br /> A hearing was held on tl~e application of The Roman Catholic Arch- <br /> bishop of Roston, a Corporation Sole for a Certificate of Appropriateness <br /> <br /> with respect to the erection of access ramps for the front entrance of <br /> St. Brigid' Church Building on Massachusetts Avenue, Yahch is ~rithin the <br /> Battle Green District. Present for the C1YUrch were James E. Burlage, <br /> Architect; T~'illiam G. Graham; Robert Harris, a paraplegic; and I.1r. & Mrs. <br /> Carl. Anderson of West Brookfield (Airs, Anderson is a paraplegic , Air. <br /> Straw read the leUal notice for this hearing and also a report submitted <br /> to the Council of St. Brigid's Church last fall regarding the erection of <br /> tho access ramps. Three set:: of scale drawings of the proposed access <br /> ramps and photographs of the ramp and the front of St. Brigid's Charch <br /> were sub~-aitted.. Following discussiorY, the representatives of the Church <br /> <br /> withdrew at 8:4j P.ri. It was moved, svcon+3c.'., and usranimousl;; 'D to <br /> issue a Certificate of i?ppropriatenass to the Raman Catholic Archbishop of <br /> Boston, a Corporation Sole for the erection and maintenance of access <br /> ramps for the front entrarYCe cf St. Brigid's Church Building.
