Parssns, Secretary, Ruth <br /> G. Govan and Mu H. ,Straw and Associate Cemmissieners George ~1. Emory and <br /> Ronald B. Whits. Chairman, 4Pilbux Jaquith was not Aresent and upon <br /> motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously VOTED that Commissioner, <br /> Max H. Straw serve as Chairman Pro Tempore for fibs Pot Shop and Lexington <br /> Trust Company hearings. <br /> The Chairman Pro Tempore read the letter ®f application and the notice <br /> oY bearing. Mr. LaRoche appeared in behalf of The Pot Shop. He did n©t <br /> have scale drawings of the signs mr photographs of their proposed 1®eatiens. <br /> He, also, stated that the materials and designs planned wsr® not acceptable <br /> to the Athens Realty Trust Company. Mr. Straw advised him to consult again <br /> with dir. Passsaisi oY.Athens Realty and to return to the Connnission's next <br /> meeting on January 2l~, 1968 with completed scale drawings. If this were <br /> not possible, due to the sixty day expiration period requirement, a written <br /> request for extension ®P time would b® necessary. Mr. LaR®che stated that <br /> he would return en January 2l~th. The hearing was adjourned at 8:00 F.M. <br /> Hearing was held at 8:05 P.M. on the application of Lexington Trust <br /> Company with respect to the erection and display oY a siggnn under the mar- <br /> quee of the Bedford Str®et elevation of the building at }!2 Bedford Street, <br /> which is within the Battle Green District. The letter of application and <br /> the notice oi' hearing was read. Mr. Raymond Scheublin, President of the <br /> Treat C~tpany, appeared and presented scale drawings of the proposed sign <br /> and a photograph oY its location. After disoussioa, upon motion duly made <br /> and seconded, it was unanimously VOTED to issue a Certificate to the appli- <br /> cant. No other persons having appeared, the hearing eras el®sed at 8:15 P.~. <br /> Bearing was held at $:20 P.M. en the application of Geerga E. Rowe and <br /> Grace F.~Rowe with respect to changes in the existing building at 33 Bedford <br /> Street af:a an addition t4 said building, which is witk}in th® Battle (~reera <br /> District. Chairman Jaquith was present at this time and assumed Chairman- i <br /> ship of the meeting.. The letter of application and the notice of hearing <br /> was read. George E. Rowe, Sr. and George E.
