Jaquith, Chairman, Philip H. Parsons, Secretary, H~.t+h G. <br /> Bevaa, George Graves and Max A. Straw. <br /> The plans were discussed by those present and a list of specificatiois of the <br /> proposed building were also discussed. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously VOTED to issue a <br /> Certificate of Appropriateness to Marilyn Hamilton with respect to t he erection of a single <br /> family d9relling with two-car garage attached on the lot at the northResterly corner of <br /> the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and 9Yorthen Road, said lot being number 20?~5 <br /> Massachusetts Avenue, which is within the B~ tle D ri <br /> The meeting was ad3ourned at 9x15 P ~ ~ `=~--.~-f/ <br /> Philip .Parson <br /> Secretary <br /> January 19, 1967 <br /> T~ Historic Districts Commission met at the tame and place specified in the <br /> public notice of the hearing on the application of Lexington Federal Savings and Loan <br /> Association for a Certificate of Appropriateness with resp~t to the erection and display <br /> of signs at 1832 - 1~0 Massachusetts Avenue, xhich is within the Battle Green District. <br /> Present w ere Milbur M. Jaquith, Chairman, Philip B. rarsons, Secretary, Bath G. <br /> Bevan, George E. Graves and Max H. Straw. <br /> The chairman read the notice of hearing and the letter of application. Mr. <br /> Gardner C. Ferguson appeared in behalf of the bank and presented the commission with <br /> scaled drawings of the four proposed signs. Mr. Ferguson was asked many questionre by <br /> the oommiasion members. The hearing was adjourffid at 9x28 P.M. <br /> IIpon notion drily mach and seconded, it was VOTED to issue a Certificate of <br /> Appropriateness to Lexington Federal Savings and Loan Association with respect to the <br /> erection and di~l.a3r of four signs for the ie w and altered building referred to in <br /> Certificate No. 187 issued December 1~, 1966, at 1832 - 1810 Massachusetts Avenue, <br /> which is within the B~ tle Green District.. <br /> The chairman stated that the next meeting of the commission will be held on <br /> February 1, 1967, relative to the applicatLon of First Parish Church. A meeting will <br /> be he]d on February 8, 1967,. relative to the application of Joseph Trani Incorporatedz <br /> and a meeting w. 11 be held on February 15, 196?, relative to application a c?f <br /> Zeeland Realty, MAGI, and Herr Eng7.and Telephone and Telegraph Company. All meetings will <br /> be held at 7:30 P.M. <br /> The chairman read a letter receis+ed from Blair Perry, ,Attorney for Battle <br /> Green Apartments, and showed the commission the enclosed photographs regarding t he <br /> Stag & Shop property. Mr• Jaquith stated the he had written a letter to Mr. Pasainisai <br /> regarding the situation. It was agreed that the movable items mentioned did not coma <br /> under the jurisdiction of the Historic Districts Gommiasion.
