ATovember 16, 1966 <br /> The Eiistoric Districts Commission met at 7s30 P. M. in the Town <br /> <br /> Aceountant~ s Office,. Present sere ~@'ilbur M. Jaquith, Chairman, Philip B. <br /> Par~ns, :secretary, Georgo E. Graves and Associate Commissioners Carl E. Bryant <br /> and Donald B. +"hite. <br /> Diseussi.on was had on the application of First Parish Church <br /> for a Certificate ofA~propriatenesa with respect to the erection of a building <br /> on 7a nd contiguous to the church building premises on Harrington Road, which is <br /> <br /> within the Battle Green District. The plans and scale drawings were studied in <br /> detail. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED THAT the chairman request <br /> the chairman of the First Parish Church Building Committee to have the architect <br /> prepare new plena of the external design of the proposed building. <br /> The c hairman read a letter from Ernest Giroux, Trustee of 4dinute Mari <br /> Park Realty Trust, requesting a change in color on t he first floor elevations <br /> of the building at 1833 - 1851 Massachusetts Avenue. The color chart was shown the cormn# <br /> issiin members. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED to issue a Certificate <br /> of Appropriateness to E reset A. Giroux, Trustee, Minute Man ParkEiealty Trust with <br /> respect to a change in the exterior colorsof the building at 1833 A 1851 <br /> Massachusetts Avenue, which is within the Battle Green District: <br /> There was discussion on the application of D[onument Realty Trust, <br /> John E. Boeing, Trustee, for a Certificate of Appropriateness with respect to <br /> changes in the exterior architectural featuro s of the existing barn at the near cg <br /> the premises at 18 Muz zey Street and for the construction of a driveway and parking <br /> area thereon, which. is within the Battle Green District, <br /> There was discussion on the Budget and it was agreed that the budget for <br /> 196ffi should be double the 1966 budget.
