Urant, Chairman, r'hilip B.'~ sons, Secretary, Ruth <br /> Bevar_, b"ilbur :f. Jaquith and Associate Coms~issioner b~ax H. Straw. <br /> The chairman read the letter oP a~nlication and the notice of hearing. &2r. <br /> Raymond Scheublin' President, Lexington Trust Company, was present in behalf of <br /> the application and Mr, Pail was present in behalf of Thomas James Company, <br /> Architects. The a_.pla_cant presented the commission with four photographs of the <br /> buildings as they now exist and two scale drawings showing the proposed changes. <br /> ~axiy questions were asked by the com,~iission members. Mr. C. Harry Erickson, Architect, <br /> appeared is~ behalf of t-e applicant and presented the coffimissio^ with a <br /> perspective and two photographs of the front of the building at 1~31~~ <br /> and 1406 Massachusetts Avenue and stated that the fa©nt o£ the building would be <br /> changed and that new signs would be erected at each store. After much discussion it <br /> was agreed to continue the hearing until September 9, 1955, in order that a <br /> hearing would be properly advertised, and at the same time Mr. Erickson would <br /> have available scale drawings of the proposed signs. <br /> Cdr. Jaquith s..ated that he had been unable to contact Robert Cataldo regarding <br /> the application of Cary Library, However, he has a signed extension of time <br /> in which the crnrrnission may act oxi the applications and it is intended that the <br /> Library meet with the commission on September 9, 1965. <br /> The meeting was adjour^~ed at 9~t~0 <br /> Philip E.
