Moore, `for a certificate of appropria te- <br /> ness far the display of a sign on the premises at 9 Depot ~uare~ <br /> which is within the Battle Green District. <br /> Present were Donald x. Grant, Chairman, philip D. Parsons, <br /> Deeretary, ~~iib'~zr Jaquith and Associate Commissioners Ralph A . <br /> Burnham and Gilliam B. Hoyt. <br /> The chairman read the letter o£ application received from <br /> Mr. Moore. Mr. William k. Moore appeared in behalf of the <br /> application and presented a scale drawing of the proposed sign. <br /> Various questions were asked by the commission members. <br /> On motion made and seconded, it was unanimously VOTED <br /> to grant to William A. Moore a certificate of appropriateness with <br /> respect to a change in the legend of an existing sign displayed on <br /> the left-hand side of the front of the premises at g - I1 L epot <br /> Square, which is within the Battle Green District. <br /> Hearing was held at 8:25 p. M. on the application of David <br /> Pinkham for a certificate of appropriateness for the erection and <br /> display of a sign on the premises at 29 vepot Squ...re, which is <br /> within the Battle Green District. <br /> the chairman read the letter of application received from <br /> Mr. Pi.nk~iam. ~Sr. David Pinkham appeared in behalf of the <br /> application and presented the commission with a drawing of the <br /> proposed sign. The commission members asked dir. Pinkham various <br /> questions regarding the sign. Mr. Pinkham stated that the sign <br /> has already been prep=red anal is presently at the sign company. <br /> ticeordingly, it was agreed that members of the commission view <br /> the proposed sign, and a meeting be held at 6;.~5 P.
