November 2, 1960 <br />The Historic Districts Commission met at the <br />time and place specified in the public notice of the hearing on <br />the application of Nathan B. Ricker for e.. certificate of <br />appropriateness as to the proposed change in the color and mat-rial <br />of the shingles on the roof on the premises at 59 rorest 'tre =:t, <br />Lexington, which is within the Battle careen District. <br />Present were LJonald n. The members of the commission had an <br />opportunity to view the dimension of the sign on uaturday, October <br />22, 1960. <br />On notion made and duly seconded, it was unanimously <br />VOTED to grant to Hancock Congregational Church a certificate of <br />appropriateness for the erection of a sign which is to be located <br />in close proximity to the chapel in the position indicated on the <br />drawing number 4 submitted by Jerome Bailey roster, 1, rchitect, on <br />the premises at 1912 Massachusetts Avenue, which is within the battle <br />Green Listrict. <br />The chairman read a letter received from i lix nealty <br />Trust with regard to application for a certificate of appropriateness <br />for changes in the exterior architectural features on the premises <br />at 1792 - 1800 Massachusetts Avenue inclusive.
