• <br />June 1, 1960 <br />The Historic Districts Commission met at the time <br />and place specified in the public notice of the hearing on <br />the application of Hobert L. Blanchard for a certificate of <br />appropriateness for the erection of a house at 1310 Massachusetts <br />A venue, Lexington, which is within the Munroe Tavern District. <br />Present were Donald E. Legro, Chairman Pro Tempore, <br />Philip J. Parsons, Secretary, Edwin B. Worthen, Jr., Arnold E. <br />Howard and Cyrus hood. In the absence of the chairman, Donald <br />H. Grant, it was voted to appoint Donald E. Legro, Chairman <br />Pro '1empore. <br />The chairman read the letter of application received <br />from H obert L. Blanchard, dated May 2, 1960, and the published <br />notice. Mr. Robert L. blanchard, the applicant, and the <br />architect, Otis B. Robinson, appeared in favor of the <br />application. No other persons appeared either for or against <br />the application. <br />The applicant presented in duplicate four drawings <br />numbered Al, A4, A5, and A6 reppectively, each of which was <br />entitled "Residence for Mr. Robert L. Blanchard, Massachusetts <br />Avenue, Lexington" drawn by Robinson, Davis and Potter <br />Architects, Weston 93, Mass. Questions were asked of the <br />applicant and his architect by various members of the commission. <br />The hearing was adjourned at approximately 9 :00 P. M. <br />After discussion of the submitted eieVations, it was <br />unanimously voted to reserve decision on the application of <br />Robert L. Blanchard pending the submission of revised <br />
