1 II • Marl, 18, 1959 The Historic Districts 00vim1ssion held a public bearing Wednesday, March 18, 1959 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building at 7:50 P.Y. on the application of Bill Owners Mutual Insurance Co. fora certificate for the erection of signs an the office at 20 Depot Square, which is within the Battle Green District. Sitting on the Commission were Dexter A.Swith, Chairman, Philip B.Pareons, Floyd J.Taylor, Charles G.Davis and Edwin B, Worthen, Jr. , Present was Hr. Davidson from the insurance company. Br,Smith read the notice. Br.Davidson said he was unaware he had to acme before the Commission in order to put up these signs. One sign is on the coluasnat the reiar of the Liberty building, rasing Depot Square. The other le over the entrance to the office at e foot of the stairs. These are wooden signs affixed by screws.
