PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br />MEETING OF APRIL 11, 1988 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board, held in Room G-15 and the Select- <br />men's Meeting Room, was called to order 7:08 p.m. by the Vice Chairman, Mrs. <br />Wood, with members Klauminzer, Sorensen, Williams and Planning Director Bowyer <br />present. Mrs. Uhrig arrived during item 110. <br />**************** ADMINISTRATION OF LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS ************* <br />PLANS NOT REQUIRING APPROVAL UNDER THE SUBDIVISION CONTROL LAW <br />107. FORM A/88-6, North Street, James A. Manganello: See Item 108. <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND <br />108. North Street Development, Acceptance of Covenant. Endorsement of Plan and <br />Form A/88-6: The Board reviewed a covenant dated March 31, 1988. Mr. Bowyer <br />reported the covenant had been approved by Town Counsel, and that the plans <br />were ready for the Board's endorsement in conjunction with endorsement of Form <br />A/88-6. On the motion of Mr. Sorensen, seconded by Mrs. Klauminzer it was voted <br />4-0-0: <br />1) to accept the covenant dated March 31, 1988; <br />' 2) to endorse the definitive subdivision plans entitled North Street <br />Development; and <br />3) to endorse the plan entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass. (Mid- <br />dlesex County), dated December 10, 1987, by The BSC Group - Bedford, <br />Inc. certified by Donald J. Forand, Professional Land Surveyor, for <br />North Street Development Trust with Form A/88-6. <br />109. Montessori School, Recommendation to Board of Appeals: The Board reviewed <br />and corrected a draft report dated April 11, 1988. On the motion of Mrs. <br />Klauminzer, seconded by Mr. Sorensen, it was voted 4-0-0 to approve the report <br />on the special permit application of the Lexington Montessori School, as cor- <br />rected. The report recommends the maximum enrollment on the site not exceed <br />150 students and that the Board of Appeals include in its decision language <br />indicating it will not look favorably on future proposals for additional <br />expansion. <br />At 7:16 p.m., the meeting was recessed to the Selectmen's Meeting Room, <br />At 7:20 p.m. the meeting was reconvened with the Board of Selectmen. <br />****************** ARTICLES FOR 1988 TOWN MEETING *************************** <br />110. Article 55, Report on Affordable Housing, Joint Meeting with Board of <br />Selectmen: Mrs. Uhrig joined the meeting during discussion of this item. <br />Chairman Eddison of the Board of Selectmen opened the meeting by asking the <br />Planning Board for comments on the site evaluation report prepared by housing <br />consultant, Robert Engler. Mrs. Wood responded that the Planning Board had <br />just received copies and had not discussed it as a board. <br />
