PLANNING BOARD MINUTES
MINUTES FOR MAY 4, 1987
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in Room G-15, Town Office Build-
ing, was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by the Clerk, Mrs. Wood, with members
Klauminzer, Sorensen, Williams and Assistant Planner Rawski present. Chairman
Uhrig was absent.
************** ADMINISTRATION OF LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS ******************
SUBDIVISION OF LAND
13S. PUBLIC HEARING, Busa Farm subdivision, off Lillian Road: Mrs. Wood opened
the hearing at 7:03 p.m. Roger Corbin, of BSC -Bedford representing the appli-
cant, presented the plans. A five lot subdivision is proposed on approximately
2.3 acres off Lillian Road.
In response to a question from Mrs. Wood as to what was planned for unbuildable
lot #5, Mr. Corbin said it could be joined to adjacent land also belonging to Mr.
Busa.
In response to a question from Mrs. Klauminzer, he noted that an in -pipe storm
water storage system had not been considered. In response to a question from
Frank Culbertson, 9 Lillian Road, as to the impact of the construction on the
' brook, Mr. Corbin explained the concept of a detention pond. Mr. Williams noted
that if Mr. Culbertson was chiefly concerned with the hydrology report, he might
wish to attend the Conservation Commission hearing on May 19, 1987.
Mr. Sorensen recommended that the right-of-way extending from the end of the cul-
de-sac to the perimeter of the subdivision be located so that either abutting
property would be able to develop their land independently of the other.
Mrs. Klauminzer noted that any easements required should be included in deed
restrictions.
Ms. Rawski reported there has been no Engineering Department report, and that
unless the applicant requests an extension of time, the Board must act negatively
on the application by May 21, 1987. The applicant agreed to request such an
extension, in writing, and have it before the Board on Wednesday, May 6, 1987.
The planning staff will try to get all possible comments to the applicant as
quickly as possible.
At 7:48 p.m., Mrs. Wood declared the hearing continued to an unspecified time.
******************** ARTICLES FOR 1987 TOWN MEETING ****************************
130. Town Mtg. Agenda: The Board discussed the procedure for requesting that
Article 42 be considered out of order at tonight's session following this
meeting.
