PLANNING BOARD MINUTES 165 <br />MEETING OF MARCH 7 1983 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board, held in Room G-15, Town Offices, was <br />called to order at 7:35 p.m., by the Chairman Mrs. Smith, with members Nichols, <br />Sandy, Sorensen, Uhrig and Planning Director Bowyer present. <br />36. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The minutes of the meeting of February 28, 1983 were corrected and on a motion by <br />Mr. Sandy, seconded by Mrs. Uhrig, were approved by a vote of 4-0. Mrs. Nichols <br />abstained because she was not present at that meeting. <br />LO <br />37. ZONING MAP: STATUS OF CERTAIN STREETS <br />N The Board reviewed the most recent revisions of the "Designation of Streets on the <br />® Zoning Map" and the "Street Changes and Additions from 1979 Map." Mrs. Nichols re- <br />ported she had reviewed the 1952 aerial photographs used for the soil survey and <br />M it appears that Aaron Road was in existence at that time. There was some discus- <br />sion of Garfield Street southwest of Hickory; Mrs. Smith reported she had walked <br />Q that section of the street in the early '50's. Mrs. Nichols commented that there <br />were six houses on Shirley Street southwest of Sargent Street and the right-of-way <br />extended about 160 feet. Mr. Bowyer noted that the first 1,000 feet of Bartlett <br />Avenue should show as an accepted way, with the remainder of the street deleted. <br />1 <br />On the motion of Mr. Sorensen, seconded by Mrs. Nichols, it was voted unanimously <br />to approve the document "Designation of Streets on the Zoning Map" dated March 7, <br />1983, which describes the criteria for the Zoning Map, and to approve the document <br />"Street Changes and Additions from 1979 Map" dated March 7, 1983, as corrected. <br />The changes and additions are: <br />STREET CHANGES & ADDITIONS FROM 1979 MAP <br />Unaccepted Streets Sub -paragraph "c" <br />AARON ROAD Designate 100 traversable feet (of the 250' ROW) from <br />its intersection with Jean Road as an "Unaccepted Way"; <br />remainder is a paper street. <br />ANN STREET Designate 50' traversable feet (of the 90' ROW) from <br />its intersection with Taft Avenue as an "Unaccepted Way"; <br />remainder is a paper street. <br />APRIL LANE Delete, road in condominium development. <br />BACON STREET Delete, right-of-way is only 20' wide. <br />BALFOUR STREET Designate 180' southwest of Asbury Street as an "Unac- <br />cepted Way"; delete the remainder of that section to the <br />southwest. <br />BARTLETT AVENUE Designate 1000' southwest of Lowell Street as an <br />"Accepted Way"; delete the remainder. <br />BRIDLE PATH Delete, right-of-way is only 25' wide. <br />
