PLANNING BOARD MINUTES 133 <br />MEETING OF JANUARY 24, 1983 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board, held in Room G-15, Town Offices, was <br />called to order at 8:15 p.m. by the Chairman, Mrs. Smith, with members Nichols, <br />Sandy, Sorensen, Uhrig, Planning Director Bowyer and Assistant Planner Arslan <br />present. <br />12. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The minutes of the meeting of January 17, 1983, were corrected and on a motion by <br />Mrs. Nichols, seconded by Mrs. Uhrig, were approved unanimously, as corrected. <br />Mr. Sorensen made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Nichols, that the criteria set forth <br />on sheet 1 of the document "Designation of Streets on the Zoning Map" be accepted. <br />After considerable discussion, no vote was taken on the motion. <br />Mr. Sandy questioned why Milliken Road or Maple Terrace, as examples, were any <br />different than some of the unaccepted streets proposed to be shown on the Zoning <br />' Map. There was discussion of how to treat streets and roads, which formerly <br />appeared on the Zoning Map as "Private Access". It was agreed to add a note on the <br />Zoning Map that certain streets which appear in the street map published by the <br />Engineering Department do not appear on the Zoning Map because they do not conform <br />to the definition of "street, road, or way" in the Zoning By -Law. On the motion of <br />Mrs. Nichols, seconded by Mrs. Uhrig, it was voted unanimously to show three class- <br />ifications of streets on the Zoning Map and to delete the fourth classification, <br />i.e., road in condominium developments. <br />The list of streets on the second and third pages of the document were reviewed and <br />discussed. There was further discussion of adding or removing streets which form- <br />erly appeared on previous maps. It was agreed that the staff would prepare a list <br />of all changes proposed to this Zoning Map from the zoning maps published in 1977 <br />and 1979. <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND <br />14. Blossomcrest: Establish Amount of Surety, Accept Surety, Release of Lots: On <br />the motion of Mrs. Nichols, seconded by Mrs. Uhrig, this item was taken from the <br />table. Mr. Sorensen made three motions, each seconded by Mrs. Nichols and each <br />voted unanimously, as follows: 1) to establish the amount of surety needed to com- <br />plete the subdivision as $850, 2) to accept a bank check from Depositor's Trust <br />Company, Number L23120, dated January 17, 1983, as surety, to be held by the Town <br />Treasurer, and 3) to release lots 5, 6, and 7 (all the lots) and to sign the Re- <br />lease of Lots document, Form G-6. <br />15. APPLICATIONS TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS <br />The Board reviewed a staff analysis of cases to be heard January 27, 1983. On sep- <br />arate motions by Mr. Sandy, each seconded by Mr. Sorensen, it was voted unanimously <br />to make no recommendation on the following cases: <br />13. ZONING MAP: STATUS OF CERTAIN STREETS <br />L ^ <br />LO <br />'/ <br />On the motion of Mr. Sorensen, seconded by Mrs. <br />Nichols, <br />it was voted <br />unanimously <br />0 <br />to take this item from the table.
