1 <br />1 <br />MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />March 25, 1981 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by the <br />Chairman, Mrs. Wheaton, with members Nichols, Sandy, Smith, Sorensen, Planning <br />Director Bowyer and Assistant Planner Asen present. <br />53. SUBDIVISION OF LAND <br />It was agreed that public hearings would be held on the Battleview and Ingleside <br />subdivisions on April 27, 1981 at 8:00 and 8:30 p.m., respectively. <br />54. APPLICATION TO BOARD OF APPEALS <br />482 Bedford Street, Tektronix, Inc.: The Board reviewed three draft reports, <br />with recommendations, on the petition of Tektronix, Inc., for a special permit <br />with site plan review. On the motion of Mr. Sandy, seconded by Mrs. Nichols, <br />it was voted unanimously to transmit a report incorporating the substance of <br />the draft dated 3/24/81, with the final report to be edited by the Planning <br />Director. <br />55. ARTICLES FOR 1981 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING <br />a. Article 24, Certificate of Compliance: Mr. Bowyer reported that after dis- <br />cussion with Town Counsel and the Building Commissioner, they recommended <br />it would be better for the Town if the existing Section 3.1.5, Certificate <br />of Compliance, were taken out of the Zoning By -Law. He distributed a proposed <br />substitute motion, to be offered under reconsideration on the article, that <br />had been reviewed with Town Counsel. The substitute motion was in two parts„ <br />the first would delete the existing section 3.1.5, and the second would bring <br />the language of the amendment, as originally proposed by the Planning Board, <br />back before the Town Meeting. In a poll of the Board, Mrs. Nichols, Mr. Sandy, <br />Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Wheaton supported submitting the two-part substitute <br />motion; Mr. Sorensen did not. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 7:46 p.m. �I l <br />4��1a ` •411f��5 <br />Laura F.
