PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />April 28, 1980 <br />' The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />by the Chairman Dr. Friedman with members Nichols, Sandy, Sorensen, Planning <br />Director Bowyer, Planning Intern Asen and Administrative Clerk Mrs. Snow <br />present. Mrs. Wheaton joined the meeting at 9:07 p.m. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Minutes of the Planning Board meeting on March 10, 1980, were approved as <br />corrected. <br />Minutes of March 17, 19, and 24, 1980, were approved as written. <br />Minutes of March 25, and 26, 1984 were approved as amended. <br />Mintues of April 2, 1980, - were approved as corrected. <br />Minutes of April 7, and 9, 1980, were approved as amended. <br />Minutes of April 14, and 16, 1980, were approved as written. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE BOARD OF APPEAL <br />Trinity Realty Trust: The Board reviewed the petition of Trinity Realty <br />Trust for variance on frontage requirements for the existing church building <br />at 44 Allen Street and Clematis Way. A letter will be drafted by Mr. Bowyer <br />for action on May 5, recommending that the variance be granted conditional <br />upon a requirement that the driveway serving as access to the church be con- <br />structed and would be paved to a width of 20 feet and graded so as to deter <br />runoff onto abutting properties. <br />A draft report to the Board of Appeals on the petition for special permit <br />for the Trinity Covenant Cluster development plan was reviewed and amend- <br />ments suggested. Based upon the discussion, Mr. Bowyer will redraft the <br />report for consideration of the Board on May 5. <br />Tektronix, Inc.: The Board reviewed the draft report on the Tektronix, Inc. <br />petition for a special permit for expansion of the existing facilities at <br />284 Bedford Street. Amendments were approved with respect to procedures <br />for relocation of additional parking suaces in case of a future widening or <br />relocation of .Bedford Street. The report will be prepared in final form for <br />action of the Board on May 5. <br />Flvnn. 3 Minute Man Lane: The Flynn petition for special permit to construct <br />an inground swimming pool at 3 Minute Man Lane was noted. No written comment <br />on the petition will be offered. <br />PLANNING DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br />I <br />Center Study: Mr. Bowyer reported to the Planning Board on an April 24 <br />meeting on a proposed request to MAPC for a study of Lexington Center.
