PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />April 14, 1980 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:05 p.m. <br />by the chairman Dr. Friedman with members Nichols, Sorensen, Wheaton, Sandy, <br />Planning Director Robert A. Bowyer, and administrative clerk Mrs. Snow <br />present. <br />The meeting schedule for the remainder of April was considered. In addi- <br />tion to the April 16 meeting, already posted, the Board will meet on <br />April 28, 1980, at 7:30 p.m. <br />The Board considered a request by Michael Saulich for extension of time LINCOLN HILL <br />for Planning Board action on the plan for Lincoln Hills subdivision, to EXTENSION TO <br />allow adequate time for review of required revisions to the plan. Upon MAY 30 <br />a motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously VOTED: <br />To extend to May 30, 1980, inclusive, the time within which the <br />Lexington Planning Board must act on the definitive plan entitled <br />"Subdivision Plan of Lincoln Hill in Lexington, Mass.", dated <br />November 20, 1979, by Miller and Nylander, as requested by Michael <br />Saulich, applicant. <br />Copies of Mrs. Nichols amended motion on Article 62 (Accessory Apartments) <br />were distributed and reviewed. Mrs. Nichols will move for reconsidera- ART.62 <br />tion of the Article, defeated on April 7, and will present the motion ACCESS. APTS. <br />as follows: MOTION <br />The motion offered under Article 62 be amended by adding a new sub- <br />section "a" to read as follows: <br />a. The number of one family dwellings containing an accessory <br />apartment shall not exceed 10 percent of the total number <br />of one family dwellings in the Town on the date the applica- <br />tion is filed. <br />and that sub -paragraphs "a" through "i" of the original motion be <br />redesignated "b" through "j" respectively. <br />Capital Expenditures Committee members Jane Buckley, Nyles Barnert, CAP.EXP.COMM <br />and Anne Scigliano met with the Board for discussion of the Planning TRAFFIC STUDY <br />Board's request for $5,000 under Article 4, Line 1090. The purpose of FUNDING <br />the request (funding of a traffic study of the Route 2/Spring Street <br />area), the procedures for implementation and the scope of the study <br />were explained. <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m. <br />1 <br />Frank Sandy, Clerk <br />
