1 <br />J <br />J <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />April 2, 1980 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:02 p.m. <br />by the chairman Dr. Friedman with members Sandy, Wheaton, Nichols, and adminis- <br />trative clerk Mrs. Snow present.Mr. Sorensen joined the meeting later in the <br />evening. <br />John McWeeney, Stop and Shop Companies, Inc., proponent of Article 73, ART. 73 <br />presented a copy of a letter submitted to the Town Clerk, dated March 26, STOP & SHOP <br />1980, (from Athens Realty Trust) stating intent to deed to the Town a <br />conservation easement over the remaining undeveloped land in the parcel <br />proposed for CD rezoning at Bedford St., and that Stop & Shop will not <br />count the parking spaces contained in the new CD parking area for pur- <br />poses of determining its permitted building area. <br />Expansion of building and parking area by Tektronix, Bedford Street, is TEKTRONIX <br />planned. The question has been raised by the petitioners as to location <br />of the addition parking within its 233 ft. Bedford Street setback. Similar <br />situations regarding the Boston Properties facility and Planning Board <br />policy of allowing parking only in 259 of the 100 ft. rear portion of the <br />front setback was referenced. The petitioner will be informed that this policy <br />as stated above will be applied in the Tektronix case. <br />Review of the Board of Appeals notices for April 10th will be delayed until <br />the April 7 meeting. <br />Mrs. Wheaton agreed to speak on behalf of the Planning Board on the Parker <br />School Article 60. <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:58 p.m. <br />Frank Sandy, Clerk/ <br />
