1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />March 25, 1980 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />by the chairman Dr. Friedman with members Sandy, Nichols,and Sorensen present. <br />Dr. Sandy kept the minutes of the meeting. <br />Because of increased printing costs, increase in the charges for the various <br />Planning Board publications was considered. It was unanimously voted that <br />the price of the Zoning Map will be raised from 50p to $1.00; the price of <br />the Zoning District Maps will be raised from $1.00 to $2.00 and the price of <br />the Zoning By -Law will remain at $2.00. <br />The motion under Article 65 (Sign By -Law) was reviewed, amended, and was ART.65 SIGN <br />unanimously approved as amended. BY LAW MOTION <br />The report of the Planning Board to Town Meeting on Article 60 (Parker <br />School) was reviewed, amended and was unanimously approved as amended. <br />The report on Article 55 (re -naming of Emerson Rd.) was unanimously <br />approved as written. <br />The report on Article 68 (Brookside - RD) was reviewed, amended and <br />unanimously approved as amended. <br />ART.60 PARKER <br />SCHOOL REPORT <br />ART.55 REPORT <br />EMERSON RD. <br />ART.68 REPORT <br />BROOKSIDE <br />The reports on Articles 69 and 71, both dealing with the Shaker Glen ARTICLES 69,71 <br />Brook multi -housing proposal, were reviewed. Reports on Articles 69 REPORTS <br />and 71 were unanimously approved subject to alterations by the chairman SHAKER GLEN <br />on the descriptions of the relationship between these two Articles. <br />The report on Article 72 (Prescott Village - RD) was unanimously approved ART.72 REPORT <br />as written. PRESCOTT VILL. <br />The report, opposing passage of Article 73 (Stop & Shop to CD) was re- ART.73 REPORT <br />viewed, amended and was approved as amended by 4 members of the Board. STOP & SHOP <br />Dr. Friedman voted in opposition. <br />The Planning Board's Supplementary Report on the dousing Policy Plan, to HOUSING POLICY <br />be filed separately from the Joint Report of the Planning Board and the PLAN REPORT <br />Housing Authority, was reviewed and was unanimously approved, subject to <br />editing by Dr. Friedman and Mrs. Wheaton. <br />The Land Use and Current Development Report for 1979/80, as required LAND USE & <br />under Chapter 71, Section 71, M.G.L., was reviewed and was unanimously DEVELOPMENT <br />approved as amended. REPORT <br />Mrs. Nichols reported on a review meeting with the Engineering Depart- <br />ment and the interviewing of consultants for the Sanitary Sewer Evaluation <br />Survey, Phase II. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:32 p.m. <br />Frank Sandy, Clerk// <br />
