PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />March 24, 1980 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:04 p.m. <br />by the chairman Dr. Friedman with members Nichols, Sandy, Sorensen, planning <br />intern Steven Asen and administrative clerk Mrs. Snow present. <br />The Annual Report to Town Meeting on the Housing Policy Plan will be sub- REPORT <br />mitted jointly by the Planning Board and the Housing Authority. The Plan -HOUSING POLICY <br />ning Board will submit a supplementary report regarding its policy on PLAN <br />donation of low income units by proponents of multi -family rezoning pro- <br />posals. <br />Dr. Friedman's draft letter to John H. Seites, Cambridge Water Dept., in CAMBRIDGE <br />response to Mr. Seites' request for expansion of the Wetland zone to in- LAND REZONE <br />clude additional Cambridge owned property (Lot 5, Map 35) was read and TO "W" <br />was unanimously approved as written. The rezoning will be proposed by <br />the Planning Board at the next Town Meeting. <br />Dr. Friedman's draft letter to the Board of Appeals regarding the Maillet MAILLET, <br />petition for variance (area and frontage at Morris Street) was read. The MORRIS ST. <br />letter was amended as suggested by Mr. Sorensen, who will prepare a sub- B/A <br />stitute paragraph before the end of the meeting. The letter was unanimous- <br />ly approved as amended. <br />The plan entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", dated June 11, <br />1979, by Miller & Nylander, submitted on March 14, 1980, with Applica- <br />tion Form A80-2, showing Lots A and B at East Street requires no approval <br />under the Subdivision Control Law. <br />Plan submitted with Application Form A80-3 by Norma D. Perry, previously FORM A80-3 <br />discussed at the March 19 meeting was reviewed. It was noted that the PERRY, BEDFORD <br />notation: "Lots A and B do not conform to current zoning", had been added & N. HANCOCK <br />to the plan, as required by the Board. Upon a motion duly made and <br />seconded, it was unanimously VOTED: <br />The plan entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", dated March 14, <br />1980, by Miller & Nylander, submitted with Application Form A80-3 by <br />Norma D. Perry on March 19, 1980, showing property at 265 Bedford St. <br />and 9 and 11 N. Hancock St., requires no approval under the Subdivision <br />Control Law. <br />The Board reviewed a plan showing Lot E at Hunt Road submitted with Appli-FORM A80-4 <br />cation For A80-4. The plan showed separation of a small portion of Lot E HUNT RD, KEN <br />(2,934 s.f.) which abuts another Lot (#2 Hunt) also owned by the petitioner, <br />Andrew Ken. The statement on the Application Form had been amended for <br />clarification to read: "Lot E-1 meets with the present zoning requirements <br />of the Town of Lexington", and a note had been added to the plan: "This <br />plan subdivides Lot E into 2 lots. Lot E-1 is a buildable lot. Lot E-2 <br />is not in itself a buildable lot."
